Cyprus is the hottest, driest island in the Mediterranean. It enjoys around 340 days of sunshine a year.

The rainy season is from November to March, with most of the rain falling between December and February although during the past couple of years Cyprus has not seen much rain at all. Spring season is mild to warm although early May can be windy. Towards the end of May temperatures begin to rise, preparing for the very hot summer months of July and August, where temperatures have reached well above 30 degrees centigrade. September and October are popular months as the weather usually cools down to comfortable temperatures.
